Cons: Tough class for a Gen Ed
Very Boring instructor you will feel like hell and penalizes absences.
Exams are very hard for a Gen Ed; not one of those classes you can get by with slack. Overall I would not recommend it this class
Do not take this class when there are other better Gen Eds available. I regretted it eventually and could not drop the class.
Cons: He is a terrible teacher and the class is miserable. Attendance is mandatory, although once he wasn't even attending the lecture himself yet didn't inform anyone so we all arrived and sat down before we know there was no class. He is very disorganized. The lectures are only available as powerpoint files (unprofessional, as they should be exported as pdfs). EVERYTHING is written in Comic Sans. Excessive and pointless reading assignments. He does not allow electronic devices in his class, which is very annoying since I take all my notes on my computer. He grades very slowly so I don't even know what my grade is yet although we are most way through the semester.
You need a good TA if you want to learn anything because the lectures are so boring.
Cons: boring class, you need a good TA
A boring class, power point are not useful. You need to remember lots of things before exams. 5 papers after reading 5 books
Cons: You can not use any electronic application, and his class is boring.
Don't choose his class!
Cons: His lecture are far too boring and has nothing much to do with exams. Trust me, you can fall asleep easily in his class.
Cons: Hard to hear.
Cons: He's boring, monotone, has pointless reading assignments, mentions the book, but never quotes it.
Don't take him at all!
Cons: lots of reading, can be pretty boring
i'd suggest taking the course as a way to culture yourself
Cons: required attendance, and the lectures were extremely boring
if you need an easy A for a Gen Ed, take the class...otherwise, I would not advise taking it
